Is it possibly in the works? FAQ only states it doesn't exist now.
It would be nice for me on PSTV solely for the fact I just got myself a decent pair of bluetooth headphones for it.
For that same reason, it will be nice to have the PS4 version for the other room, since I have wireless headphones for that.
Hmmm..speaking of the PS4 version... will it work over remote play, or do you have to disable that feature? That would be a decent workaround to not having a PSTV version.
Why wouldn't it work? I have a vita and when i remote play into my ps4 i can open games/apps etc. So why can't we just open plex? I haven't got plex (NA) yet so i can't test. Doesn't it just mean it isn't a native app on the vita/ps4. Obviously this means that someone cannot play the PS4 while you are remote playing plex from it. Isn't it pretty much mandatory from Sony to have remote play integration?

Remote Play is mandatory for games, but is a potential licensing nightmare for media apps, as well as a bit of a mess in terms of network usage.
I tried some apps. Plex, Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu Plus don't work, but Vudu and Crackle do. Maybe there's hope for Plex after all.
Yes, PS4 app is locked out from Remote Play. Just tested it. What you get is "Cannot display the current screen over remote play". Same with the NHL app.
Oh well, I have my PSTV primarily for PS4 gaming in the bedroom (it works great over gigabit LAN), and I've got my headphone solution coming in the form of a bluetooth transmitter I'll connect to my TV's audio out.
