I have read, that Plex is not available for PS VIta or PSTV. But could you not make it compatible with remote play? In this way we could use PS4 Link on PSTV and start plex remote on the PS4.
I tried that yesterday on my PSTV, but it is not able to show the display when plex app is open in remote via PS4 to PSTV.
I mean we dont need an extra App for PSVita or PSTV but the remote capabilitie to view the plex content on PSTV via the PS4Link App on the PSTV.
On the Vita the App is named PS4 remote play but its the same as on PSTV which is named PS4Link.
After i connected to my PS4 in the local Network via LAN from my PSTV and started the Plex APP, i just got an white screen and the message, that the display couldn’t be streamed.
This would be really nice if we could use the Plex APP via remote on the PS Vita or PSTV. I have that small PSTV device nearly always with me and it would be so nice to use plex on a Big TV with PSTV when im not at home.
Any Update on this? Can someone from Plex bring light in the Dark? Now its already one Year without any answer reagrding your testing! It woul be nice to hear something about that…I would like to use Plex on my Vita or Playstation TV in combination with remote play…Why cant somebody give some updates about this? Did you test something…is it impossible to get it working because of Sony restrictions? I guess it should be possible with remote play…
And im sure that other People would like that also.
