  1. Add channels to a favourites list which could pull to your home dashboard [mod-edit: duplicate → DVR Program Guide Discover By Channel Group or Favorites List]

  2. Have a view of channel groups, this can be handy trying to find same types of channels, for example Discovery and Nat geo together . [mod-edit: duplicate → DVR Program Guide Discover By Channel Group or Favorites List]

  3. On Android app the tv guide can be a bit long, so when you scroll down and want to get back up to whats on now you have to scroll all the way back up so why don’t you just jump up on back and back twice to get out of live tv.

  4. Xteve proxy for IPTV can put the stream into a new container like mp4 but plex is unable to play if you change from mpegts. This is an issue on my roku when it will need the stream transcoded.

  5. Choose a serperate folder for tv recordings so they don’t get mixed up in your main libraries. Perhaps TV recordings library. [mod-edit: can already be done; see post below]

some good ideas. all my votes are locked up already though, sorry.

#5 you can already do this, and it’s actually what they want you to do since recently changes to guide data.

  • create a regular tv library
  • add or edit a dvr scheduler
  • change library to the designated dvr library
    – if a library has multiple paths, you can choose.

I would prefer not having to create a library for movies and tv shows, rather one library for all.

Also being able to give managed users only one library to record to.
