Live TV remote access

Hi, I’m running Plex on Nvidia shield pro with HD Homerun tuner. Until 2 weeks ago I had no issue with remote access live TV, now I have sound but no picture. I’m trying to access via iPhone while out and about. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling DVR. Rebooted home router and Shield. All other files play without issue, it is only Live TV that has problem. If I’m at home on same network it works perfectly. Life plex pass so not that. Please help

Are you using the HD Homerun Flex4K? If so, and tuning to ATSC 3.0 channels, audio will not work because there is no support currently for the audio it produces. Your only recourse is to make sure to tune to ATSC 1.0 channels.

The HDHomerun App can play the sound though, but Plex can’t. See this thread:

If you are using the Flex4K, not sure what your problem is.

I’m using HDHomeRun CONNECT DUO 1080. I have sound but no picture on live TV with remote access. At home on same network all works as it should. Remote access files play sound and vision without issue. It is only remote access Live TV that has a problem.

Is the server trying to transcode when viewing remote? If so change the bitrate and see if that helps. Use original if you can.
