I have a Raspberry Pi with the Pi HAT installed for receiving Freeview TV here in the UK. Using tvheadhend together with tvhProxy, my Plex server is able to successfully use the Raspberry Pi as a TV source.
I can record shows and watch live TV fine from the web application and from the app on my smart TV.
However, if I try to use the Plex Android app to watch live TV I just get a black screen but I can hear the audio. If I change the video playback quality to 480p (1.5Mbps), the video works but after a few minutes I get a spinning circle and nothing else happens. If I exit the video feed and select the TV show again it loads and plays for a bit but then the same thing happens.
In the server logs I see this message when this happens:
Sep 28, 2020 21:12:59.117 [0x7f8f247f0700] WARN - Got a transcode session ping without a session GUID (or with an invalid one).
Is this a known issue?
