On PC desktop, why does the live tv always stop at the ending of a show??? That is soo annoying. Just let it play continuously I dont have this problem on pluto tv that plays continuously. I dont really have this prob on roku. at least not yet!!! Plex got problems; unlike pluto tv, Pluto is DA BOMB!!! Plex just bombs!!! lol!!!
I thought that this long standing problem had been fixed. With all the problems in the most basic DVR/LiveTV functionality, I really question Plex’s commitment to the product. For many months now, the quality just does not warrant anyone paying money to use this … … “thing?”
Just wanted to chime in and say this is happening to me too at the moment, it seems to be at 3 minutes past the hour every hour for me. Nothing immediately obvious in the logs that looks to be the cause.
Happens on both Chromecast Google TV and nvidia shield. Have tried on hosting a Plex Server instance on 2 different platforms, Synology x64 and Raspberry Pi 2 and it seems to have the same issue. Investigating my logs again soon when it happens again
Just to confirm but it sounds like this is related to the free Live TV on Plex and not the server Live TV right?
Sorry, just being gathering some more information. It is Server Live TV provided by a HD Homerun Quatro.
I’ve just replicated the problem now so will be attaching logs. The error happens 19:03:38, at this time, my Shield stopped its stream and came up with the loading icon.

Okay I think your issue is unrelated to the what the OP is reporting. We’re tracking an issue with Live TV on Plex currently affecting the web player which is what it sounds like OP is talking about.
