I’m actually having the same issue on both my Nvidia shield and my fire devices. However, it only happens with managed users that have previously always been able to access it and that option is turned on in the settings for those users.
I just hadn’t gotten around to posting my own forum post yet.
Managed users on different devices is a completely different, unrelated issue to the issue posted in this thread.
You will want to rollback your PMS version if possible.

Same issue on todays latest server version. But only through the windows player, through chrome the guide shows up as normal.
Install new player version fixed the issue on the windows player.
Server Version#:1.18.0.1944-f2cae8d6b-x86_64 AND 1.18.1.1973-0f4abfbcc-x86_64 .

Both Server versions will not allow me to see Live TV or the DVR Schedule. I get the “There was an Unexpected Error” message (attached). I’ve had to drop back to Server 1.17.0.1841-d42cfa161-x86_64 which seems to work fine. Running macOS 10.15 Catalina (although problem happened before on Mojave). on iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014).

@darcilicious I’m confused. When I go to the download page with Plex Pass toggle turned on, all I see is the same version I mentioned above. 1) Is there another way to do it? 2) You had a colon “:” after your comment, but nothing after the colon. Should there have been? Thanks.
No where do I mention going to the download page.
Please download the Preview release of the Plex for Mac (desktop app) by clicking on this link (which is what is included in my post above, you just need to keep clicking through the links or better yet, read through the thread before posting).
Figured out the problem, current Server and current Plex are working fine. What confused me was that I didn’t realize that this forum had non-standard links… Orange instead of blue underlined standard html. I hadn’t realized you had posted a link… but not your fault… the forum design. Anyway, thanks for getting me on the right path.

Ah! I use the “midnight” or some such theme for this forum so the background is a very dark charcoal with blue links (but no underlines).
