Thank you for the confirmation. I did a forum search and while I saw a lot of unexpected error posts I didn’t find anything about Live TV & DVR.
I’ll look again as I hate to add noise to a forum.
Same issue for me with macOS Catalina and Plex Server installed on a Synology NAS.
I have the same issue, but the problem appears to only be with the Windows Plex app. I still have the Plex Media Player (V3.104.2) installed, and it works to view live TV. The Windows Plex app (V1.3.1.916-1cb2s34d) gives the “unexpected error” message. Also, the Android version is working (V7.20.0.11992). My server version is 1.18.0.1913.
This issue should be fixed in the next release of the Plex for Mac/Windows apps; I don’t have an ETA to share.

Until PMP is nuked sometime next year, or is that being rethought?
Has already been re-thought; go ahead and read the Original blog post where they rethink it all.
I had the same error and grabbed the test versoin from Plex for Windows and Plex for Mac forum preview releases
I no longer see the error.

can you share the download link for Server Version#: 1.18.0.1913 you are using? I only recently installed Plex media server and I can’t find older downloads
I have the same issue on the Mac desktop app. Live tv doesn’t work, ever. Browser, android tv, iOS 13 works without issue,
Did you install the Plex app preview release linked earlier in the thread (1.4.0)?
