Live TV w/ HD HomeRun Connect Duo - Refuses to stream, multiple error messages

Got a HD HomeRun Connect Duo today. Works fine using the HD HomeRun app on both Windows and iOS.

Whenever I try and watch on my primary PC using Plex Media Player it says “Unable to tune channel (not on air)” and when I try on the iOS app it says “No media found for currently airing channel. Code: -1”. When I try on my Android tablet, the app just crashes. When trying on my Roku in the bedroom, it works fine.

Pretty frustrated at the moment and a Google search didn’t turn up any solutions. Being able to watch my local live TV remotely was a big reason I bought a lifetime Plex Pass, so I’m hoping I can get it working.

Alright, well I figured it out… of course, right after I posted this!

Apparently the date on the PC running my Plex server was set for 1 day in the future (no idea how that happened). After switching it back, everything works. I guess it was trying to tune to shows that were for tomorrow and since they obviously weren’t airing, it wouldn’t play.
