I have my 10pm news recording and the station also reairs it at 1:35am and when I look for upcoming episodes it only shows the 1:35 airings and I have it only recording the 10pm time slot. I have no idea how this is not being recorded because it airs in the same time slot every night of the week. I wish there was a way to just record a certain time slot no matter the show in the slot.
Anyone have any ideas why a show isn’t showing up in the program guide as recordable but it shows up at 10pm as a show to watch live?
I have screenshots of the show itself, the settings for the recording, and the recording schedule showing it is not going to be recorded. I also have attached the logs.

You know sometimes I wish I had the dvr thing just so i can play with and understand it. Can’t you do a manual time edit?

I would of thought this was the way. It’s sad that it’s not or can’t be configured to be.
My understanding is that you can only configure a show to record and the time before and after the show is slated to air. You cannot say record channel 12 from 10-10:30pm without a show picked.
This usually isn’t an issue because the program guide is up to date (mostly) and if the show’s time slot wonders, Plex accounts for that and will record it on the changed time slot.
Remove the minutes before start setting you have applied. There is currently an issue with applying a pre padding and specifying a specific time slot that Plex is reviewing.
That did it. I have noticed though that when you do not have the prepadding in and you remove commercials, it will cut off part of the beginning of the show, usually 10-15 seconds.
