How to notify Plex that DVR does not record shows

How do I notify Plex that the DVR feature does not record certain shows?

I’ve taken screen images of the recording schedule showing “This Old House” marked for recording. Seconds later I took a screen image of the Program Guide showing “This Old House” playing. It does not show as recording. It does not record. This has been going on for months. I’m thinking they would want to know.

I’ve moved the show to the top of the list to give highest priority. I’ve marked the show to record all episodes. I’ve marked the show to record on any channel. Yet it is not recording of the Saturday 11:00 a.m. episode each week.

It happens with some other shows/movies too.

If Plex would allow recording of a time & channel instead of by the title or using the program guide I could work around the bug. I’d simply set a recording on Saturdays at 11:00 A.M. on channel 20.1 (Indianapolis). Although the program guide and title search are easier if they worked.

An additional tidbit… The show immediately following “This Old House” on the same channel (“Motorweek”), does record.

Is it showing up as a “New” airing? If so it will have a “New” next to it in the Recording Schedule section. This caught me out for sometime, by default a new recording will be set to record “New Airings Only”, if you change this to “New and Repeat Airings” you might find it works.

One of my biggest frustrations still is that some programs just don’t show up in the EPG. The channel shows up ok and most programs for that channel are there, but there will just be some that have no information at all (must be totally missing from the EPG data), due to this you just can’t record them. Very frustrating. There is a form somewhere where you can send information through to Gracenote, but I did that months ago and still no change.
