I’ve already moved on. I use a FireTV and an Nvidia Shield. Both can run Kodi, Netflix, and Amazon. I still have Plex on my server but have been using only Kodi… way more customization and don’t have these issues.
Bump for this as well. I have a ton of content from BluRays I moved over to Plex, and Plex can’t figure out what to do with it. Even if we have the same functionality as movies (“Screen Test - The Hound-behindthescenes.mkv”) that would satisfy the bulk of what I’m after.

Another +1 for this request. To be honest, if Plex turned around and said they had put in an effort estimation and the development cost would be ‘x’ I swear the community to crowdfund the features they want in a week!
How do we get notice on this long running topic? @kinoCharlino as the Plex Employee who wants to hear from Plex Users for Promotional Videos, can you point the community in the right direction?

Why stop there… I’m desperately looking for the Plex team to add this all the way! Use the existing local media asset structures (per show, season and episode) but allow the addition of extras (deleted scenes, trailers, scenes, shorts, featurettes, behind-the-scenes, interviews…) as with movies.
I’ll be very blunt. As long as Plex ignores this topic and does apparently
ZERO to address all that’s lacking for TV shows I will never, EVER,
considering paying for Plex Plus.
I’ll be more blunt… like I mentioned before. I’ve moved on to almost 100% Kodi… This needs to be addressed before I’d ever consider coming back let alone Plex Plus.
well… let’s call it some naive optimism on my part.
There’s been some small progress in this area during 2017 when Plex actually introduced TV Show extras – so far just for non-local content. I’m not yet willing to follow a more depressing train of thought/implication that there’s actually zero technical limitation and this is all lag of willingness to improve this area of Plex :’(

Digitizing my nice big Twin Peaks season 3 blu-ray set, and now seeing that the extras won’t be handled the same as in the Movies section. Seems like an obvious and easy fix.
