I have been running a Plex server on my PC for many many year now. I have never ever had any issue with any buffering/studdering ever. My PC is now upgraded to the best PC I’ve ever owned. Ryzen 5 5600x, 32GB ram the server is on a WD Black SN770 with 421GB of free space and I still run my RX580 8GB gpu b/c we only play fornite and minecraft on it. I have used the same 65” Vizio smart TV Plex app for the last 4-5 years. I have a whole library of 4K videos and TV shows that have played without issue. Here lately for the last month, ever single video I play just about is choppy and what I call studders. Absolutely nothing has changed in my entire household or setup. 108MB down 20MB up internet service. Literally nothing has changed. I have Plex Pass active. Hardware acceleration active. I’ve search and searched and searched and for the life of me cannot figure out what has happened or caused this. Not one single setting has ever been touched or changed or the PC or in Plex. I am the only person in the household that uses the computer. Any ideas or help would be so greatly appreciated.
