Local TV Extras Agent

Since this is a metadata agent, you won’t find it in the same place as plugins like Webtools.

Go to Settings > Agents > Shows

Local TV Extras Agent should be listed under Personal Media Shows, TheTVDB and TheMovieDatabase

It might not be pre-selected - if not, then select the box beside it to enable.

I’m an idiot! You were right of course. The plugin was installed fine, just not selected in the agents menu.

New Plex Media Server TV show/series scanner and agent preview

I’m a bit late on this, but it looks like TV extras are going to be supported by the new TV show scanner/agent. Hopefully this means that client support will eventually follow for season & episode extras

I have Assign Extras to Episodes, Seasons or Shows based on folder structure enabled but still dumps it in the main listing for the show.
My folder structure goes Show name/Season XX/Extras/ExtraName.ext

I’m using Hama as my agent.

edit: I think i see what’s happening, the files are getting detected as episodes.

This no longer appears to work for some reason. New content that I add doesn’t want to display extras. Scanning old stuff that has extras displaying correctly makes them all disappear.
