Locast2plex "Could not tune channel."

Hi, I just recently had a go at installing locast2plex, according to the instructions in this YouTube video: Locast & Plex ! How to Stream and Record Local TV with locast2Plex (repost) - YouTube

The first couple of times, on different machines, it worked like a charm: The channel listing and DVR functions, and the viewer all worked perfectly.

However, I replaced the original computer with another and followed the exact same instructions, and now I get the message “Playback Error - Could not tune channel. Please check your tuner or antenna.”

Interestingly, the channel listing comes up without error, and otherwise everything seems to be working, so I really can’t fathom what could be wrong.

Are you able to add the locast2plex tuner into the live tv & dvr section of the settings on Plex? If you havent done so already, remove and readd the tuner since you have changed some settings.

I had the issue where it would not play anything for me until I changed the location to 127.0.0.1. I have plex and the locast2plex script running on the same computer and for plex to recognize the tuner, I had to tell it to find the tuner at 127.0.0.1:6007. Once I figured that part out, everything fell into place and worked great.
