Is anyone else having trouble tuning in certain channels? My plex server isn’t able to tune CBS(which is channel two) My TVs hooked up to the same connection tune it in just fine. The settings also show that the signal is good.
My tuner is a WinTV-HVR-22XX. I get the following error when trying to watch live TV.
I’m having this issue as well. Channel 3.1 (cbs for me) in the logs won’t ever tune (but works in HDhomerun app w/ great signal). Other channels will work every time.
Here is my attached tuner log showing working tunes and the last one is a failed tune.

Update. I installed plex on windows ( Version 1.18.4.2164) and the channels that don’t work on linux (docker) work fine.
What would be the difference? The version logs for 1.18.4.2164 don’t say anything about fixing dvr stuff…
Update again:
Just tried a completely fresh docker install (very easy to do). I didn’t use any existing configs or files. And now the channels work!
So something in the old config is killing some channels from tuning??
Not sure your issue is similar to mine. I disconnected from my amp and connected the tuner before the amp and (fingers cross) haven’t had anymore issues.
Nope, not the problem. I can tune the channels outside of plex (hdhomerun app for example), just not in plex.
