Server Version#: 1.24.1.4931
I am trying to add audiobooks to my library. It seems that one of the popular options for that is to use the audible metadata plugin (located here GitHub - seanap/Audiobooks.bundle: My personal variation of macr0dev's Audiobook metadata agent for Pl )
However, I cannot find the main server data directory…I assume it has to do with DSM-7, but is there anyway to add this add-on at this point?
Thanks

With the version you’re on, if you open File Station you should see a PlexMediaServer folder… inside there is where you want to look:
I don’t see that…just this:
@primetime34
You are seeing your Plex shared folder AFTER a successful migration.
If you look at Migration.log you can see this.
Can you wait a few days until Engineering releases the new packaging or do you wish to use a version behind current but have the new packaging ?
I can certainly wait…are you saying that when the new package comes out (in the next few days) I’ll be able to see my Plex data folder ?
When the new package structure is released, you will find that I’ve been able to recreate much of what we had on DSM 6 - WITH LIMITATIONS.
Here is my forum preview. This contains all the info about what I’ve been able to achieve as well as the known limitations now imposed by DSM 7 (which are harsh).
My primary goal was to provide the means for Backup & Restore.
If other features / activities are possible then so be it BUT it is the user’s responsibility to understand how constrained DSM 7 is and how it tightly controls applications now. It’s not “do as I want” anymore.
DSM 7 - Finalized Configuration (Packaging 2.0) - Release Information
See below for updates
Since DSM 7.0-41890 finalized, I’ve had time to digest everyone’s input as well as review what we ultimately ended up with in DSM 7.0
Looking at all the issues faced, there was one overriding problem which could not be solved – Plex’s data was not accessible from the GUI or other Synology tools such as Hyper Backup.
An important issue for most was the data area could not be moved.
It took some t…
Looks good. Thanks!
Any idea when this would be available to the main/beta channel (I’m on beta currently).
I can manually add the audiobooks I need for now.
Thanks again!
All the changes were submitted to Engineering and set for their next build.
From what we can tell, that IMPLIES 1.24.2 but there are no guarantees.
The ONLY guaranteed way to know is to look at the PMS release notes.
You will see it listed for (Synology)
