Lockscreen loop when casting

When I cast to Chromecast, after selecting play, my phone shows the lockscreen before going black and then it loops between the lockscreen and the black screen.

This began when I updated to the latest version of Android on my OnePlus 13.

I have tried casting to my Google home hub, clearing the cache, reinstalling and disabling notifications. No luck.
