Log is filling up with warning: "[CompanionPlayer] We already have a handler, overwriting"

I have question about the debug logs, it started that I was getting warnings like:

[CompanionPlayer] We already have a handler, overwriting.

This warning popped up every 20 seconds.
After turning on debug logging it seems that every 20 seconds the user is being re-authenticated hence the “We already have a handler” as the user never logged out. (that is if I interpret this correctly)

So my question is if this is normal behavior and it can be ignored or is more going on?

Don’t know, but do you have more than 1 browser tab open to plex?

@blim5001, thanks for the reply! I read the thread you linked but for me it’s happening even with only one tab open to plex and no client connections at all.
Because I just started with Plex this is my first install so I don’t really know if this is normal behavior our not.

ah sorry it was late when I posted that, I think every 20 seconds is considered ‘normal’

I’ve chatted with Engineering. Change request submitted to quiet that down more (hopefully completely as it serves no production purpose)
