I get the error message saying that I must use the email address to sign in to this account. I am using the email address. I can sign in on other devices no problem. What am I doing wrong??
In my home system, I used email to sign up, and created a user name. I use the username to sign into the system via the web browser. Seems to work just fine.
email: sergneri@blabla.bla
username: sergneri
sergneri + password logs me in. Try that.

There is a setting in your user profile to set this. It prevents others from trying to log into your account if they only know your username. Goto Plex.tv and login using your email and password. Then goto https://plex.tv/users/edit, just under your email you will see a check box for “REQUIRE EMAIL ADDRESS WHEN SIGNING IN”, turn that off if you don’t want it.
