Why do I have to go through the logon process (inc. a passcode) every time I want to open my browser to view PMS, which is running on a headless PC in another room. This has only started happening recently. I can access PMS through mobile data on iPhone and the web app on a remote laptop without any problem. Seems like any time I want to use PMS through the local network I need to go through the web app, even on a local machine.!!? Even had to do that to be able to post this question…!!!

Check Settings → Plex Web → General → Automatically Sign In.
Which web browser are you using?
Plex Web uses cookies.
If you’re using any cookie/ad blockers be sure to whitelist the plex.tv domain and the IP address of your server if not using app.plex.tv.
Also, when you quit the browser, make sure it does not delete cookies.
Hi there, thanks for the reminder to check the obvious… that was it, but I was sure that the auto logon was ticked way back when…
