Looks like folders starting with periods are not being scanned

Continuing the discussion from Finding Albums or Artist.:

Server Version#: 1.21.0.3711
Player Version#: N/A

I found a post from 8 years ago describing the EXACT same behavior. in general it seems like a lot of artists are missing in plex (plex count and folder count dont match) but this is the only one I know right now (.38 Special).

Yes, Plex ignores folders that start with a period.

Don’t use the stylized names.
