Why is it that I lose settings and the Server on the Shield when I reboot … The server has to be setup again before it can be reached this is unacceptable as I keep losing my libraries and settings.
Have you reset your shield to factory defaults? I have rebooted at least twice without losing the Plex server settings. Running Shield 7.1.
Been there done that for now I am totally done with Plex… Not worth the headaches anymore. Their support on this forum totally stinks.
It feels more like a problem with your Shield, e.g. a hardware, storage or power failure, My Shield does not lose any of its setting, not even when I pull the plug.
PLex is the only thing that does not work HDHR EMBY KODI they all keep settings on reboot.

Did you move the plex settings to external storage?
No I have a PRO. I will reset my Shield again and try from scratch all over again. Will get back.
Update I was on the beta channel reset everything and stuck to public and now it is working … so it is something in the beta.
