Using the latest Nvidia shield Plex server, after each reboot, Plex server failed to start, the Plex server setting is unavailable in Plex app, and can’t access Plex web UI.
This is happen in my case, Plex server is owned by Plex admin account, but on Nvidia shield I most of the time logged into different Plex user (not managed) inside Plex home.
This is caused by Nvidia shield Plex server not correctly starting the process.
Work around :
Option 1.
Delete all your Plex server data, which mean you lose all library.
Option 2.
Sometimes, a combination of power of shield and force close all Plex process and restart Plex server process may work
Do Plex staffs do any Quality Check before releasing a stable version?
**EDIT DON’T DO THE WORKAROUND ABOVE.
INSTEAD OF STARTING AND STOPPING PLEX SERVER PROCESS, IT SOMEHOW CREATE NEW UNCLAIMED PLEX SERVER WITH IDENTICAL NAME, BUT DIFFERENT SERVER ID, WHICH MEANS YOU HAVE EMPTY PLEX SERVER AND LOSING ALL DATA**
