Hi Plex community !
I am a newbie in Plex, and I just spent the last days setting up my Plex server.
It runs good and I already love it, but I am facing one issue which I could not find out the cause :
After scanning my library, some of my movies did not get any cover. Instead, for those movies, a kind of screenshot of the video is displayed.
So I corrected one by one by editing the media and selecting the proper cover among the various proposal.
That worked well, but then I figure out that every time a new scan of the library is performed, all my “manual edition” is lost and the same movies displays the same screenshot instead of cover.
I went through all parameters, but couldn’t find anything to fix this annoying issue.
I checked the parameter “Run a partial scan when a change is detected”, but that one did not change anything because all my movies are stored in same folder so they are all rescanned anyway.
How can I set my changes of cover as permanent ?
(Or maybe the question is : How to solve this cover issue with some movies ?
Because the movie is properly found and named by the agent, only the cover art is not applied, eventhough they are available when editing the media properties)
