I put in a feature request in December 2017 to have Alexa just shuffle your library when asking to play music. We somehow lost that feature in the last few releases and now it annoyingly tries to talk me through all these choices. If I ask alexa for plex to play music, just have it shuffle the library. If I wanted something specific I would have asked for it. Please revert to old feature

No need to say shuffle. Just say
“Alexa ask Plex to play some music”
When I do that it goes uh oh something went wrong and crashes 
Can you recreate that then PM me your Amazon email address and the time you tried this? I’ll have the devs check if an error shows up on our end.
Edit - Don’t need the email, just the approximate time. Also your timezone +/- UTC.
I may have jumped the gun because it wasn’t working for almost a week…but I believe the reason it didn’t work was due to updating the plex server - I restarted the service and it seemed to clear the issue. #sorry
sudo systemctl restart plexmediaserver.service
“Alexa ask Plex to play some music” works again.
Use the command “Alexa, tell plex to play library radio”. It will shuffle your music library as if it was a radio station. You can then just use the command “Alexa, next” to change the song.
