Noticed after the new update rolled out I’ve lost my grid view on Live TV EPG. Any idea how to fix this ? Cheers
The EPG Grid should only be available in the beta as we are still ironing out some issues with it (version 7.5 of the app), what version are you using?

How do you use the beta version? I have a Plex pass and my server is set to use the beta updates
Ditto, I would like to know this too. I am really disappointed in Plex that the guide has just ‘vanished’ without warning. Has forced me to sign-up for HDHomrun DVR which has an awful interface.
So can we get the guide back though beta, and how ? Thanks

I signed up for the Plex Pass over a week ago. I’ve been doing some trials/testing to see what works best and I had the grid guide on my Shield, then my HD HomeRun updated, and I believe my Shield and other stuff did some random version updates - after that everything went to hell. I’m not able to tune to a channel on Plex, I LOST THE GRID GUIDE, and some other things. I haven’t been sure until seeing this which component broke, and wasn’t really in the mood to reset everything and start from scratch. This really pisses me off, without the grid guide the Plex interface is just as bad as the HD HomeRun slice view crap. It’s damn near impossible to browse shows and times, and I don’t want to pay for such awful software. I suggest that the Plex people get off their butts and get this their software properly QA’d and released - give your users what they want!!!

The Grid Guide is currently in beta on Android TV (including the Shield). If you decide to use a beta version, then there will be some bumpiness from time to time, and features are sometimes added and removed as work continues on them. The Grid Guide should be available on the 7.5 beta version of the Android TV app (I can see it myself), but software in beta is still in the QA process, and is not formally released as stable.
The Grid guide briefly appeared on my Shield and then disappeared. I have plex pass and I have subscribed to the Beta program. Has something happened to the Grid Guide in the Beta version?
I signed up to the beta testing, received an update and the guide is now back for me. Have to say though it’s clearly a beta deployment !!..but that said, if they get it right, it will be a Sky killer for me
any hits to get my system to pull down the beta version? I’ve signed up for the beta program on the google play site as per the instructions on the Plex site, but I’m not getting anything on my Shield. The device is up to date, and all the basics are working, but my Plex app still shows that I’m on version 7.4.0.6424, and the PMS says that it’s running 1.13.6.5339. I’m about at the end of my rope and an going to go back to cable and Tivo.
It is frustrating, Plex seem have released a DVR system in whatever status which still needs an awful lot of work.
I run HD Homerun & NVidia shield… it saves me loads of bucks on cable charges, and I mean loads, but right now has frustrating bugs.
If I were you, i’d try uninstalling updates for Plex on the shield. Ensure that you are signed in to shield with the same ID / email which you signed up for beta. Then with a day, reinstall updates, reboot. See what happens.
