Lost Guide and scheduled recordings 0 airings being found!

Anyone else have the same issue? Is this a Plex issue like EPG down? Rolled back Plex to earlier version Nothing was solved.

I have also have been having this issue on both my windows and ubuntu plex server.

I think there is a global issue with EPG guide right now.
I can’t get EPG on multiple servers.

I’m having the same issue. Zero EPG info loads even after multiple manual refreshes. All channels remain properly mapped in DVR Live TV settings.

Must be down never never did I have this issue. Plex support where are you guy’s?

Came in to report the same issue… Using the QNAP flavor of the server

SonLife has an issue delete it and it should help otherwise you have a another channel providing blank data from Gracepoint which causes nothing to be downloaded.

I’ll just copy my answer to all the other threads:

The Plex Team is aware of this issue. A workaround for now is to disable all channels with names that don‘t follow this nomenclature:

012 NAME (Description)

while NAME needs to be uppercase and is not allowed to have spaces.
The bracketed part is optional and can contain spaces as well as lowercase letters.

As soon as you get the note “Downloaded 1234 airings” and PMS downloaded more then zero airings your epg works fine.

The epg scan usually is pretty slow, so don’t worry as long as you got mentioned “Downloaded 1234 airings” note.
In my case the scan can last more than a hour.

I am having the same issue but ONLY since I updated to the latest PMS 10/24. Don’t know if that’s a coincidence but 10/24 is the last day anything recorded. Nothing in my guide (refreshing doesn’t help) and no recordings scheduled going forward. ARGH!!!

I’m certainly not blaming you and thanks for finding a work around! I am just making sure I understand what you’re saying because I looked through all 500+ channel mappings across my 3 tuners and I couldn’t find any that didn’t follow the naming convention you mention above. I proactively deselected 3 that had “JR” in the name because it looked like the “J” may have been lower case (weird font) but it still doesn’t repopulate.

Is it an issue with the latest PMS update? Would going back to the last one help?

Ok, so I guess you could try to deactivate all channels except a few and increas them until you get “Downloaded 0 airings”. Then you now you catched a malfunctioning channel.

I don’t think it would help to downgrade, but I didn’t test it because for me disabling those channels helped.

I find that I can’t install the old version without uninstalling the latest one. If I try that will it trash all my settings, DVR mappings, recording schedule etc or would they be retained?

I can’t help you with that, i’m using plex in a docker.

I actually see in the OP that rolling back was tried with no resolution. It must not be related to the server update.

Any resolution to this issue?
