My server does a scan of media over night, and I noticed today that following the latest update to PMS which I installed a few days ago, all my TV show season posters have gone and are replaced with the general all seasons ones! What has happened?
My season art etc is locally stored as jpg (season-all-poster.jpg, season01-poster.jpg etc etc) files and the episode info etc is also locally stored in NFO files.
Server itself is a Windows 7 Pro virtual machine. Clients are various PCs/Laptops and tablets and the problem shows on all so it’s not a device image caching problem. The server is signed in, as are the clients.
The screenshots I have attached show the problem. I have tried to do a full refresh of the TV shows library but it didn’t fix the problem.
Right, I have removed 1.3.0 and installed the previous version 1.2.7. Re-scanned all my media and it has restored the correct art-work. So it appears something has been broken in this latest release.
Yes I am using the xbmc nfo importer as the agent. If I switch to tvdb I guess this will then mean it will ignore all the information in my locally stored NFO files and pull it all off the Internet which I do not want.
Also the season posters etc are sometimes much lower quality and you lose control over which images to use unless you go and manually change it all later which would take ages! Which is why it’s all locally stored.
I’ll stick to 1.2.7 for now until the addon auther updates it to work with newer versions. Bummer!
