Lost media

Server Version#: PlexMediaServer-1.32.6.7468-07e0d4a7e-x86_64
Player Version#:
While out of town, my access to the Plex stopped working. When I returned home I was able to access plex again but all the media is gone. I’ve reinstalled and can not add my QNAP NAS media files back.

Can anybody help me with this?
Plex Media Server.log (5.4 MB)

@wpf

Thanks for providing the logs.

According to your logs, I see:

  1. “Plex Multimedia” shared folder – Home Movies, Movies, and TV Shows
  2. External drive with more Movies and “Kids Movies”
  3. External drive (2 of them) with more of the same

It looks like the media files are there but something is interfering with PMS.
I am seeing something in your logs which makes no sense.

For that reason, I would like you to download the PUBLIC version (not PlexPass) 1.32.5 and INSTALL ON TOP OF what you have now.

(If you uninstall, you’ll delete all the data and we only want to downgrade)

Where would I find the PUBLIC version to download

https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/

Turn off the “Plex Pass” button in the lower left corner

I download and installed 1.32.5 and now I’m unable to claim this server. When I click on “claim it now” server goes to the next screen. When I click on “claim server” it spins and goes back to “claim server”.

On this link there’s an example down at the bottom specifically for QNAP

Thank You, it looks very complex., but I’ll give it a try

JaysPlex7, I did give it a try but was totally lost with ‘curl’ utility and tar or zip to extract the utility scrip from the protective wrapper.
I was able to stop my PMS in QNAP
i tired putty and got a “network error: connection refused”
Is there video can explain the procedure

Is it possible you could walk me through step by step. I note sure what you are referring to in the instructions. Can you IM or call me?
