I add a lot of TIDAL content to my local library, so that’s how it’s played back in Plexamp. I have loudness leveling enabled and all of the other options such as preamp and limiter are at their default values. However, it doesn’t seem like TIDAL tracks have their loudness adjusted.
When I’m in the car, I’m constantly having to turn the car volume up or down depending on what’s playing. The same happens with Plexamp on the desktop. Just doing some early morning listening in the office at a comfortable volume and had to quickly reach for the volume when the next track was from TIDAL. This is for all TIDAL tracks across the board. And they appear to have had their loudness analyzed, as they show it on the seekbar.
Also, on a side note, sweet fades also do not work with TIDAL tracks. For me, only two actual local tracks will produce sweet fades. I know once upon a time it was said that they were “supposed to work,” but not sure if that’s still the case.
