Low quality video on Hisense 55a6

Server Version#:
Player Version#:
Hi, i’ve problem with video quality, It’s low on Hisense TV and i believe that the problem Is the Plex App.
Indeed, in the other Lg TV the quality Is High.
I set all options on high
Have someone the same problem?

Monitor playback via Plex Dashboard → Now Playing.

Does the dashboard show “Plex for [tv model]” or “Plex for Smart TVs.”

If the latter, see Devices with Limited Playback Capabilities section of Which Smart TV models are supported?.

If the former, is the video transcoding? Look at the expanded view of the Plex Dashboard.

The app is Plex for Vidaa.

If i watch a movie with dlna server, the quality is the original.
If i disable transcoding, on tv appears a cpu error and the movies dont starts.

Whit transcoding enabled plex convert the movies in sd.

In the other LG TV i do not have any quality or cpu problems, whit or whitout transcoding

Plex believes it has to transcode the video for some reason.

  1. Configure your server for debug, not verbose, level logging. (Settings → General → Show Advanced)

  2. Restart Plex Media Server.
Wait two minutes for the server to completely start and log the startup sequence.

  3. Enable transcoding, so the video will play.

  4. Play a movie with subtitles disabled.

  5. Let it play for ~30 seconds. Then stop playback.

  6. Wait one minute for the server to log everything.

  7. Download the server logs (Settings → Troubleshooting) and upload the entire ZIP file to the thread.

The TV is connecting to your server via Plex Relay. The stream is going from your server, over the Internet, through a server at plex.tv, then back to your TV.

This indicates a local networking issue preventing the TV from communicating directly with the Plex server.

Some things to check:

  1. Is the TV on the same network as the Plex server, with a 192.168.1.x address?
It is local, not connected through another router, etc.

  2. Reboot your network (only have to do this once).

  • Power off the TV (remove from AC power, don’t just turn off).
  • Shutdown your Plex Server.
  • Power off your router and any network switches, etc.
  • Restore power starting with the router and working your way out to the server & TV. Let each device fully boot before proceeding to the next device. Power on the Plex server before the TV.
  1. In Windows, make sure the network is Private, not Public.
Settings → Network & Internet. Properties if you need to change the setting.
Note that Windows stores the Ethernet & WiFi settings separately.
If you change the setting, restart Plex Media Server.

  2. Configure the Plex server and TV to use a public DNS server.
This will help if your ISP has implemented DNS Rebinding Protection.
    Ex: 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare); 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 (Google); 9.9.9.9 (Quad9).

Thank you so much, i fixed it by changing the DNS of the tv

GOD BLESS YOU!!!
