My server is my old desktop running now on linux. I7 6700k, 16Gb of ram, and I’ve fiber optic at home with 1Gb theorical connection(with my tests, through ethernet cable, I’m limited to ~450Mbit/s in up/down. Anyway, plenty enough.
Client side, I’ve my laptop, connected on my phone network. I currently have 4G+, with 30/8Mbit/s
I’m trying to sync a TV show on my laptop with the plex desktop app, and it takes forever. With the windows task manager, I see plex using only 2.5-2.8Mbps.
What’s the issue here? I’m not even that far from my home(same country). I had this isssue last year, but I assume that it was because I was at the total opposite side of the globe.
