I have plex pass, and lyrics are enabled, but dear goodness I can not for the life of me get lyrics to work. I’ve followed every guide that I could find and nothing works.
Me too… Lyrics stop showing some month or version ago…
Is it just not working in Plexamp? Do other players like web app show them? Or do you mean the server Is not getting new lyrics for newly added music.
I can currently see them but I have not added new music myself in a while
It doesn’t show on the web, Plex or Plexamp.
None of the music is pulling lyrics. I just added music 3 or so months ago. It’s never worked.
I am using Plex Music for source and the lyrics checkbox is checked.
I just added a new i never had before album and it got lyrics immediately so likely will need to get server logs to make a report or hopefully see what could be issue.
I did find this topic from last year where this user was not getting lyrics and they needed to update some things. They were on linux to may not be something you would run into Lyricfind.plex.tv returns 404 for all Lyrics

Yes it was me back then but since the issue is here again. Same as everybody Lyrics stopped working since the new version.
The issue is on the server side as it appears for all client (Plexamp, web, android). The server logs show a 404

Trying to got to the URL does return a 404 : http://192.168.1.105:32400/library/streams/340046?format=xml
The track XML does show the correct stream ID :

What more do you need to be able to debug ?
I don’t even get the 404 error. I don’t even get the option to click lyrics when using any app. I have logs, but where do I send them?
Make sure. Find Lyrics is enabled for your music library.
In Plexamp it is here
You can message them to me by clicking on my username/avatar
OK I got your logs and see some errors in the com.plexapp.agents.lyricfind.log making report for our server team to look into it.

@TacoBellTime which music agent is your library using? Also just to be sure which region are you in LyricFind is not available in some places
We did see this in logs which says it did find lyrics for this. is it not showing for that.

I am in the US and here are my settings. Still no lyrics option in the apps. I’ve tried PC, phone, tablet etc.
What do you suggest I do? Delete and refund the sources?
Just an FYI,
I got this to work by removing the library, deleting cache, deleting “trash” in the settings and then readding the library.
I wish support had a fix, but it just took hours of troubleshooting.
I use Plex on an M4 Mac Mini….Quit the Plex web app and reopen. The lyrics should now be available. I had the same problem….tried refreshing, scanning, nothing worked…..finally I tried this and it worked.
