I’m looking to setup and use PlexAMP so I installed Plex Media Server and added some music for it to index. After it has indexed my music and pulled the metadata, I don’t see anywhere in either the web player or PlexAMP to show lyrics. When adding music to the library it was set to use “Plex Music” for both the Agent and Scanner and “Find Lyrics” is checked.
Checking the support article on lyrics shows that Plex uses the website “lyricfind” and if I go to that website and search for a artist/song I’ve added to Plex, lyricfind DOES show it has lyrics. So the API Plex uses should be finding lyrics but nowhere in any of the UI’s show any lyrics or options to display lyrics. A few posts suggest the lyrics can be shown by clicking the overflow menu(three dots) but there is no lyrics option shown when I navigate to the overflow menu. I’ve also seen posts suggest that refreshing the metadata can make lyrics appear but I’ve tried to refresh the metadata 3-4 times and still no lyrics are shown.
