Music in my plex server doesn’t show lyrics. The button for lyrics is greyed out & disabled for all songs. The checkbox is checked in the Music Library to load lyrics. And I have a plexpass subscription.
Any ideas what else to try?
Hmm thanks for report. There appears to be some bug. I just tried a song i know should have lyrics which are not showing up.
That’s a fairly old version of the Plex Server. I’m using Version 1.32.0.6865 and lyrics are working normally. You might try the current version of the server.
Do you have local lyric files, or are they coming from LyricFind?
I don’t see any issues on my end but please refresh metadata for a few albums which don’t have lyrics, then provide your server logs and I’ll take a look to see if I can spot anything.
And as mentioned above, your server version is quite old now and I would recommend you update it.
sorry I was a bonehead and must have disabled it at library level for some reason.
please check this is enabled and a refresh has been performed after enabling
I refreshed metadata and that solved it. This is a new install. Weird that the library didn’t do it the first time.
