M2ps supported?

Hi,
I have serval m2ps video files, but they are not recognized by Plex. Are there any workarounds or plug ins available to make these files runnable in Plex?

I’ve only ever heard of .M2TS, which is basically a transport stream, just like .TS.
I assume the P stands for “program”, which implies that this is actually almost the same.
I’d try renaming them.

I have seen the m2ts files at my search as well. However, this seems to be different. I have processed every file to the mpg format now. I wanted to close this issue and it was the fastest way as I could not find many information about m2ps

Claims M2PS is an Mpeg Program Stream format, similar to the M2TS. As far as that (generic) page says, only VLC handles it. Might have to convert them to another format using HB or FFMPEG to use them anywhere else.

Depending on what streams/tracks the file contains, a remux might do, e.g. using MKVToolNix (I haven’t tested that though… never saw that file type in the wild).
