M6 Replay plugin - Ask for help

I have audio but no video.
Hello,

i wanted to create a plugin for M6 Replay Website: [http://www.m6replay.fr/](http://www.m6replay.fr/) ... After some research, i have got an xml [http://www.m6replay.fr/m6replay/jsp/getxml.jsp](http://www.m6replay.fr/m6replay/jsp/getxml.jsp)
i'm a newbie, but i finished a "beta" plugin... All categories/titles/etc work but when i play a WebVideoItem, there is only audio, no video...

i don't now where is my problem, so I'm really waiting for your help ! Thanks.

Here are a few things you can try:

Put the stream-url into a “*.strm” file and try to play that file … this way you know if / how the content will play … outside from the plugin.

Try to cut and past the stream-url into your browser … see what you get there.

Look here (last post) to see what the Plex Media Server is doing in the background:

thanks,

my plugin is now working fine…

It’s avalaible for beta testing, but because M6 is a french channel, i don’t know if there are countries restrictions…

Two others questions : how edit this topic title? , and how submit a plugin to unsupported plugins pages?

good job !

But yes there seem to be restrictions on these videos if you are trying to stream from outside france. I just tried from the US and it does not work :frowning:

Is there a way to go through a proxy ?

#1: Admin can do this … not us …

#2: Just go to the WIKI (when you are logged in) and select EDIT on the UNSUPORTED PLUGINS page … then you can just copy another entry …and make the changes you need. Once that is done … you will see some RED colored links … that means that those links do not lead to anything YET. Click on them and you get to an EMPTY page (or in case of binaries) get to a page where you can upload a file.

The EMPTY page should become your DOCUMENTATION / DESCRIPTION of your plug-in … again find another one and copy and paste the text into your blank page … make sure you go into EDIT mode of the page you want to copy … this way you cut and paste the SOURCE … maintaining all formatting and such.

Hope this helps,

Robert

Yep PLEX supports PROXIES ... you might need to enter PROXY-CREDENTIALS (ID/PW ... this depends if you need to authenticate in order to use the proxy) ... those can be entered in ADVANCED settings of PLEX. This can be found by COMMAND-F (bring Plex into window mode) ==> look at the top bar of the screen ... and select the ADVANCED setting menu there.

awesome !! thanks for the tip :-)
