When using the plex app on Mac OS, entering full-screen auto hides the mouse pointer (when not in use) and stops the screen saver/sleep mode for activating
Is this when playing music or do you mean the app just not in active use and it is in full screen
No this would be for when videos are playing.
So you expect a screensaver or sleep to kick in even though it is actively playing a video?
this sounds like the behaviour that most of us would want, i.e. working as normal.
any chance you can help us understand why this is not meeting your requirements, what the specific use case is, because it would seem not be for typical interactive media playback.

The Universal app, looks like this at the top:
I’ve never I seen that happen with the desktop app you tagged this topic with.
If you are using the iOS app on your Mac then odd things like that may happen. The iOS app is not in any way optimized for desktop and likely will never be.
Thanks for your help. It seems I accidentally downloaded the Universal App instead of the MacOS one.
Thanks again.
You are most welcome, happy plex’ing.
