MAC player all jacked up

Server Version#: Docker Version 1.25.8.5663
Player Version#: Plex-1.42.1.2926
MAC OS: High Serra version 10.13.6

When playing a video, I will have the controls at the bottom of the screen. After a few minutes, that roll up will cease to pop up. However, the controls are still there, you can click the mouse and what ever control would have been there,

Gets better, the only way to see controls if to go to PLEX | Preferences. This then requires that I type in my PIN. It continues to play the video, even if I select a new user. While browsing settings, the drop down menus are far to the left. Then when I bring the video back (same user) the controls will stick for about a minute and the video blinks while the controls are visible. It then stops and once again the controls will not display. Windows that drag over the top of the play have a box that is 20% larger all around.

This started happening this weekend right after an update to the latest version of the player. Video playback works fine in all the browsers and no users, local or remote have complained of a similar situation.

I am experiencing exactly the same problem in respect of the player control roll-up becoming effectively transparent/invisible, also ever since the last player update.

Plex server, player and MacOS versions all match tumprgt’s. Is this a High Sierra only issue?

Nope it’s not just High Sierra, I’m still using Mojave on my macbook pro and the controls disappear for me as well.

I’ve also got this problem. Everything was working fine until the recent update.

Even after the latest sever build and computer player, same thing. Actually it may be worse as the screen is now flickering while the controls are displayed, and they are not going away.
