The controls at the bottom of the player don’t go away when the mouse is moved from the window.
As I move the mouse over the window the controls appear, however when I move my mouse away from the window the control remain.
I’ve found that I can get them to go again by pausing and playing the video, and then going to the menu at the top of the screen and hovering over “plex → preferences” for a few seconds, then make sure not to pass the mouse over the window.
it is a known issue when cursor goes over the controls ( top or bottom) when it leaves. If you move the cursor out on the left or right ( not over the controls) it should go away
No like, I don’t want it to rewind. I’m trying to resize the window, and depending on how/when plex wants to draw the player controls, when I grab the bottom left corner of the window, plex will think I’m trying to use the seek bar to go back to 00:00 (even though plex has barely started drawing the player controls) when I am just trying to grab the corner of the window to resize it on the diagonal.
Not that you can really resize the window lately since it’ll cause plex to crash.
Still can’t get a reliable way to get them to go away. Pause/play may work one time… running the cursor over the controls may work another, then the next time neither do.
And when you do get them to go away… whoops, accidentally moved the mouse over app and have to deal with it all over again.
I have noticed this problem as well but now I am dealing with an even worse problem where Plex for Mac will not even load. The application launches and the screen is completely gray / blank. No spinner icon or anything. Really getting sick of the problems for something that I pay monthly to use. None of my other devices have these problems just Plex for Mac on my MacPro 6,1. I created another thread with logs here: Mac Player Cannot Establish Connection to Server(s)
