Mac Player Crashing on resize while video playing

Server Version#: Mac 1.28.2.6151
Player Version#: 1.52.1.3195-a0c4d5e9

Been happening since 2 server updates ago. Every time I go to resize the screen when a video is playing the program just quits and gives me the option to ignore, submit report to apple etc… Not sure what’s going on. I did do a clean install of the player after completely removing the other one from my system.

System is:
iMac 24 (2021)
M1, 8 Core, 16gb Ram

Any ideas folks?

Hmm… I cannot seem to reproduce this with the same version of Plex for Mac (though on an Intel system)

Thanks for testing tom80H! Does anyone on a M1 have this problem? OH my OS version is:

MacOS: 12.5.1 (21G83)

Definitely. It’s been discussed here for months. Started after 1.41. The new video player isn’t able to keep up with window resizing, so it crashes.

Ah this is my first time here on the forums. Thank you @radley1 for the response! I’ll keep an eye out on the future updates for fixes to this problem.
