Mac Player invisible

Server Version#: 1.27.2.5929
Player Version#: 1.48.2
macOS Version#: 12.4
MacBook Pro Intel

The Plex app windows are invisible. After starting the app I can’t see any windows. The app logo is visible in the dock and I can select the Plex app on the menu bar, for example the preferences - but the windows are still not visible.
Selecting to “show all windows” in the dock minimizes all other apps and if I hover over the lover half of the screen I get a blue border with rounded edges but that is all.

I already deleted the app by dragging the icon into the trash and reinstalled it a couple of times with no change in behavior.

Plexamp works fine on the same machine. Just downloaded Plex HTPC and it seems to work fine as well - though I didn’t connect to my server yet. Plex web works fine. All Plex apps on all other devices work fine.

Any ideas?

Anybody got any ideas? Doy ou need any additional info? Any logs or anything?

It’s a long shot, but you’re describing what it looks like when I run Plex Media Server on my Mac. An icon appears on the menu bar and no windows.

There’s Plex Media Server that runs on Mac. It’s not a player.
There’s Plex HTPC the standalone player with a 10’ interface.
There’s Plex for Mac the standalone player.
There’s the Plex Web App a browser based player

Would you verify you downloaded Plex For Mac, the lastest being
Plex-1.48.2.3124-647ff031-x86_64.zip

The download page would be Media Server Downloads | Plex Media Server for Windows, Mac, Linux, FreeBSD and More and then the App & Devices tab for players.
