@bradleymad sorry your post got overlooked.
Currently due to an unresolved bug, MacOS 10.11 can only run up to 1.29.0.6244.

Downgrade

  1. Quit out of PMS if it’s running.
  2. Download the older Plex Media Server 1.29.0.6244 or 1.28.2.
  3. Go into your downloads folder and double click it to unzip it.
  4. Drag the app from Downloads and drop it into /Applications and Replace
