I’m having major buffering issues on my Samsung Android tablet. The videos will buffer every few seconds, stop or just won’t play. This happens at home as well as at work, despite wifi speeds of over 100 MB/s.
It happens with videos from my own server as well as other people’s servers.
I watch with subtitles on.
I do see that, on my home server, playing a video on the tablet makes the CPU peak to 90%, despite it being an i7.
I don’t have any issues on my Samsung phone or on desktop computer, but I do have issues on my Roku TV.
If I use the option “Play with external player”, everything works flawlessly.
I’m also completely unable to play files that have been downloaded for offline viewing.
Settings are as follow:
Auto adjust quality: off
Remote streaming quality: maximum
Remote audio quality: original
Incrust subtitles: only advanced formats
