Could you make a feature on the servers side that when i start a movie or series episode, then a pre-roll video (bumper) would be played right before it? (manually selected) not a pre-roll video to cinema trailers.
Other question: Could you solve the “gap” problem? When the new video starts, there is a “gap” between them. Is there no possibility starting to covert the next video before the previous ends for the server? Or the server works for the next very minute? (Sorry for my english)
Go to Settings | Extras and place the URL of your pre-roll in the space provided (called Cinema Trailers pre-roll video). It needs to be a video in your system. I called mine “zzz-descriptive name” so that it would be at the very end of my library and most folks wouldn’t see it.
Can’t help you with the gap.
What would the URL be for a file on the local file system? Just a path or is there more to it than that?
A file (bumper) whitch is played every time when I or connected users start a film or a show. Not a cinema trailer preroll file. Beciuse if cinema trailer set to zero then no preroll file playing.
Sorry but if cinema traler set to zero there is no preroll file playing
It has to be a file in your Plex database and there is no way to “force” users to watch it. I have Trailers set to 0 but the pre roll still plays unless the user sets their individual player setting to 0 (I just don’t tell them how to change it on their player).
There is an existing request for this feature. Rather than splitting votes, please add your vote to that thread.
Thank you. I voted for it.
