cast members are now clickable for movies and at the top level of a tv show.
Clicking episode specific cast members results in an error This directory appears to be empty
, at least on mobile which is where I tested it. Will check on shield later …

This feature should have been put in a long time ago. No surprise though. Very few requests ever get looked at.
You need to visit the Feature Suggestions category more frequently. There’s tons of stuff that’s been implemented. Don’t go only by the big fish suggestions that have been around for ages.

I take it as a good sign if this one is now implemented (at least for the actors/cast)
How can you get the beta version on Sony TV/Roku/ Nvidia shield? Or is it the Plex server that has to be updated?

I believe the update to the Plex for Android (TV) app a month ago (version 10.0.0) should cover this and we could consider this feature as implemented.
