Scanning for end credits, putting up a Skip Credits button, and minimizing the video when the end credits are hit are THREE (3) different things. Turning off end credits to stop the other two behaviors is not an answer - Please make this behavior easier to modify.
There’s already an existing suggestion discussing an option to configure the end-credit behavior with regards to shrinking or popping up a skip-credits button in the first place. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
