hi, I recently discovered a tool called SyncLounge(previously plex together) because I was looking for a way to view movies and shiz with my buddies. anyways, since my internet is balls where I am and I can’t really watch things on plex without it getting all moshi. I decided to try out the SyncLounge player in hopes that it would passively download when I pause the video so I can maybe come back later and watch some crisp 1080p episodes. so yeah, it did that which was nice. also I noticed playing stuff was just overall a lot smoother. plex web would stop playing constantly on 720p but on synclounge, it’s great. I don’t know if plex generally only upload the minimum amount required or what but I would like an option to let me and my peeps download the video until it’s done downloading even when pausing the player. in like the regular plex player that is. for now, I’ll just use SyncLounge.
which is not perfect either, I just realized it stops downloading after a while so I can’t cache a whole episode while I’m writing a forum post or something ):
