the window to edit a movie poster or a show is very small, and it stay same format, in either a 27 inch screen, a 34 inch screen or vertical 27 inch screen, making it impossible to correctly edit for poster because you are unable to see if the ART you pick is pixelated or not, so when finly you open that media on a big screen you seen the pixel in all its glory
but in a futur update something bigger so its easier to see for everyone and personnaly i don’t have to squint my eyes, and i am sure others too, to see if the poster is bad or not
They could start by adding the resolution to the thumbnails, like the Plex Dash app does.
In Jellyfin when you are in the image chooser you can right-click > open in new tab (or just middle-click) and see the image asset at full-size. This can be useful for images that are high-res but actually just upscales of some lower quality image, or for spotting things like small text or watermarks you don’t want in your image.
There’s already an existing suggestion to increase the size of the “Edit” modal.
Similarly, there’s a suggestion to display the poster / artwork dimension in the selection… probably similar to what we already have in Plex Dash or Plexamp.
well its a new take on it since one of the poste only talk bout making the windows bigger nd the other one about having better quality of poster, me i am asking for bigger poster, so its easier to see them when you choose
also both post are from 2018 and 2017, maybe mine will have more succes with a title and examples
